Because Before “Thrift Shop” There Was This—
Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop” got everyone excited about $5 findings at the local Goodwill and while I enjoy the song and it’s subject of thrifting very much, I love Barbra Streisand’s TV Special song “Poverty Medley” even more. Maybe it’s Barbra, maybe it’s the visual contrast of the featured Bergdoorfs. Whatever it is, it’s all good.
